Alice.com chooses OHL as supply chain partner

Wednesday, August 26th, 2009

Alice today announced our selection of logistics company OHL to provide fulfillment for Alice.com.  We’ve been growing like crazy since launch, and it is great to have such a solid partner that provides both expertise and the ability to scale quickly to accommodate our customer and manufacturer growth.  Thanks OHL!

Here’s what OHL has to say about the relationship:

Alice.com has entered an essentially untapped market and we are excited about our relationship with them and the growth we have seen already,” commented Bob Spieth, President of OHL’s Contract Logistics business unit. “OHL’s flexibility and deep experience in the direct to consumer marketplace allows us to meet Alice.com’s business requirements and respond to their rapid growth as they expand their direct to consumer model.”

New Site Updates

Monday, August 24th, 2009

Since our launch in June, we’ve been up to quite a bit here at Alice. Here are a few quick updates to the site we are happy to announce. We’ll have lots more to share very soon.

1. New Coupon & Review Bar
We enhanced the scrolling coupon bar at the bottom of each page to include not just coupon and product information, but also reviews from fellow Alice users so you find the best deals on the best products. You can review your products by clicking My Reviews under My Products.

The improved Reorder Alerts page touts a more organized interface to help you keep track of your household essentials so you never run out.

3. New Recently Added Products Page
Under the tab, Other Ways to Shop, we’ve given you the option to browse products that we’ve recently added to our wide assortment. Both new essentials and products that have been recommended by other Alice users, this is a great page to check out often, especially since we add a new manufacturer almost every day.

These updates and improvements make the Alice service a little more nifty in our humble opinion.
